With over 17 years of experience of working in the profession, I can tell you for sure that HR is never boring - that's because humans are never boring!  There are no text book answers for human related issues - it takes interpretation, connection and judgment to come up with good solutions.  And sometimes we still get it wrong!

The thing I like most about working in HR is that I get to make a positive impact - not just on the success of our business, but on our People.  Seeing people grow and develop, especially those where I've had the pleasure of playing an active part in their journey, gives me a huge sense of job satisfaction.

While some people need to sit down and figure out how their work contributes to the 'big picture', all I have to do is look up at the People around me!  

At Geoquip our People are so hard working and so motivated to succeed that the least I can do is help towards improving their working lives so they may continue to be motivated and enabled to bring their best selves to work every day.
